Halal Prinzipien

Das Wort “halal” kommt aus dem Arabischen und kann mit “erlaubt, zulässig” übersetzt werden. Lebensmittel, die den islamischen Vorschriften entsprechen, werden unter dem Begriff “halal” oder “halal food” zusammengefasst.

  • Der arabische Begriff “haram” ist das Gegenteil von halal und bedeutet “verboten”. Lebensmittel, die nicht den islamischen Vorschriften entsprechen, fallen unter den Begriff “haram”.
  • Zwischen halal und haram liegt die Kategorie “makruh”, d. h. verpönt, aber zu vermeiden. Im Allgemeinen sind alle Lebensmittel erlaubt, außer denen, die ausdrücklich oder eindeutig verboten sind.
  • Für die Verwendung des Begriffs “Muslim” gelten die Richtlinien nach der Fatwa der Islamischen Weltliga in Mekka im April 1974, wonach hier nur Sunniten und Schiiten als Muslime anerkannt werden.

Die Standards, die die ICA Halal-Zertifizierungsstelle eingeführt hat, sollen sicherstellen, dass die zur Zertifizierung bestimmten HALAL-Artikel die erforderlichen obligatorischen Regelungen und geltenden Standards einhalten.
Die Schritte, die ICA-Kunden (Hersteller, Händler, Importeure, Einzelhändler, Geschäftsinhaber oder jeder andere Kunde) unternehmen, um ihre Produkte zertifizieren zu lassen, bevor sie auf islamischen Märkten verkauft werden. Zu diesen Schritten gehört die Beschaffung von HALAL-Zertifikaten (Konformitätszertifikaten) gemäß den GAC/SMIIC-Vorschriften.

  • Conformity Certificate: Formal document issued by ICA as Certification body Seeking approval of Accreditation bodies stating that certification is being granted for the product/process in accordance with applicable scheme/standards as per Accreditation Requirements.
